The USAID and EMA project of “Fostering EMA’s Capacity to Promote Continuing Professional Development (CPD) & Evidence Based Learning” is contributing to the quality of health care through increasing access to standardized CPD and evidence based learning among members of EMA and other professional associations.
As part of the activities of this project, EMA organized a “Scientific Writing” training program from December 28 to 31, 2015 at Hawassa Referral Hospital for 22 physicians.
The course on scientific writing will help clinicians/members and other health professionals to develop skills on scientific paper writing that are publishable in scientific journals. This course combined interactive discussions a four day group-based course that includes knowledge transfer, small group work, practice and feedback to on research writing knowledge and skills to trainees.
